I’m Thabiso Mandisa Dulaze . a Nurse Case Manager and an emerging Health Systems researcher, currently a first-year MPhil student in Health Systems at Stellenbosch University.
This e-portfolio captures my learning journey through the Research Proposal and Grantsmanship Writing Module from the early stages of developing my research idea, to my first draft, reflective growth, final proposal, and presentation. Each step represents my progress, determination, and passion for research that makes a real impact.
My research proposal, titled

Professional Summary
I am a Nurse Case Manager working for an international medical management company, where I coordinate medical care for patients around the world and ensure they receive safe, timely, and continuous treatment.
My background includes work as a Research Nurse Lead, Occupational Health Nurse, and Primary Healthcare Nurse, giving me a well-rounded understanding of both clinical care and healthcare systems. I have worked on studies focused on HIV, TB, and sexual and reproductive health, and I’m passionate about using research and evidence-based practice to improve access to quality healthcare.
I’m currently a first-year MPhil Health Systems student at Stellenbosch University, pursuing my passion for public-health research and policy development.
